Our Story

The Sky Has
Always Been
Telling the Truth

Why Multiple Systems?

Try the Chart System

Most astrology apps pick one system and call it the truth. We refuse that limitation. The sky is one sky. The way you map it determines what you see — not what is actually there.

Tropical astrology anchors to the seasons. Vedic astrology anchors to the fixed stars. True Sidereal uses the actual positions of planets against the real constellations. Real Sky uses IAU boundaries — the sky as modern astronomy actually defines it. Each system illuminates a different facet of the same celestial reality.

Lumina Sky was built for seekers who ask hard questions. Who want to see themselves through multiple lenses. Who understand that truth is not flat — it has depth, dimension, and it shifts depending on where you stand.

Our Philosophy

01

Precision

Every position calculated from verified astronomical algorithms — the same mathematics used by professional ephemerides and observatory software.

02

Plurality

No single zodiac system holds the whole truth. We give you all five simultaneously so you can make your own informed interpretation.

03

Depth

Beyond the natal chart — Solar Returns, Saturn Cycles, Synastry, Human Design, and Stargate overlays for the seeker who goes all the way.

"The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff.
We are a way for the universe to know itself."
— Carl Sagan

The Five Systems, Explained

Tropical
Anchored to the seasons — the Western standard 0° Aries begins at the Spring Equinox. Signs correspond to time of year, not star positions. The most widely used system in Western astrology.
Vedic · Lahiri
Anchored to the fixed stars — the Jyotish standard Uses the Lahiri ayanamsha to correct for the precession of the equinoxes (~24° offset from Tropical today). The foundation of Indian Vedic astrology.
True Sidereal
Equal-division sidereal — the KP system Like Vedic but using the Krishnamurti Paddhati ayanamsha. A slightly different calibration point produces subtly different results, especially relevant near sign boundaries.
Real Sky · IAU
Actual constellations — the sky as it truly appears Uses the International Astronomical Union's official constellation boundaries. Includes Ophiuchus. Signs have unequal sizes. The most astronomically accurate system.
Sidereal
Fixed-star zodiac — alternative ayanamsha calibration A separate sidereal calculation using a distinct ayanamsha reference point, offering yet another layer of comparison across the fixed-star family of systems.
